Medi-Facials and Chemical Peels

Medi-facials and chemical peels are suitable for treating a wide range of skin concerns. They generally work by providing a chemical exfoliation of the skin using a range of clinically proven (and often naturally derived) ingredients that target specific concerns and work at different depths of the skin.

Downtime, results and risks are determined by the specific treatment and the condition of your skin. We will tailor the treatment to directly target your concerns and work specifically with your unique skin.

Suitable for treating:

  • Acne or congested skin
  • Fine lines & Wrinkles
  • Rough skin texture, enlarged pores
  • Rough skin texture, enlarged pores
  • Dehydrated skin

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a mild mechanical exfoliation technique used to remove the superficial (top) layer of old skin cells. This improves the appearance of the skin and creates better permeability of the skin – allowing topical products to penetrate deeper in to the skin.

This is a gentle procedure with no down time. It is recommended as a 4 – 6 weekly maintenance treatment.

Suitable for treating:

  • Acne and congested skin
  • Fine lines & Wrinkles
  • General skin health

Skin Needling (Dermapen)

Skin Needling (also known as Dermapen treatment or Collagen Induction Therapy) uses lots of tiny needles to create controlled damage of the skin, which encourages the production of collagen and elastin by inducing a natural wound healing response.

This treatment is most commonly used for scar reduction treatments but may also be used for general skin rejuvenation on the face. We sometimes also combine this with PRP therapy for enhanced skin rejuvenation effects.

Suitable for treating:

  • Acne scarring
  • Trauma scars
  • Rough & uneven skin texture, enlarged pores
  • Fine lines & wrinkles
  • Loss of firmness

Epidermal Blading

Epidermal blading, or “epiblading”, is an innovative exfoliation technique that employs a special surgical instrument to gently remove the topmost layer of skin and vellus (fine) hair of the face. This means that the fresher, younger skin will be revealed and allows for better penetration of active skin care ingredients (such as vitamin C) deeper in to the skin.

There is no downtime with the treatment. It is most suitable for pre-event skin prep as makeup application is more even and the skin has a subtle but noticeable glow.

Suitable for treating:

  • General skin health
  • Fine vellus (light) facial hair

Cosmetic Skin Tag and Mole Removal

This procedure involves the surgical removal or freezing of unwanted skin lesions including skin tags and moles. All lesions are reviewed by our Dermatologist and/or sent for histopathology testing.

There will be minor swelling and redness after the procedure. Post-surgery instructions should be strictly followed to reduce the chance of scarring.

Suitable for treating:

  • Unwanted moles or skin tags
